Description

KLINGER Bellows Seal Valves are specially designed to provide highly reliable, low-leakage stem sealing. A metallic bellows forms a seal between the valve stem and body, helping prevent external leakage of the process fluid. They are particularly suitable for steam, thermal oil, vacuum, hazardous fluids and costly process media. Design & Construction Body Material: Carbon Steel / Stainless Steel Optional Material: Ductile Iron on selected models Bellows: Metallic bellows seal Stem: Non-rotating stem to prevent torsion of the bellows Bonnet: Bolted bonnet construction Seat & Disc: Cr13 hard-faced on the KAD-BLGB model Body-Bonnet Gasket: Fully enclosed spiral-wound stainless steel + graphite gasket Operation: Handwheel operated Position Indicator: Standard on the KAD-BLGB model Lubrication: Lubricating nipple provided on the KAD-BLGB model. Typical Specifications Size Range: DN15 to DN80 for the KAD-BLGB PN16 version Pressure Class: PN16; flange options include PN16, PN25, PN40 and ANSI Class 150/300 End Connections: Flanged, Socket Weld, Butt Weld and Screwed options depending on size/material Temperature Range: -10°C to +425°C Design Standard: EN 12516-1 Flange Standard: EN 1092-1 Face-to-Face: EN 558 Series 1 Inspection & Testing: EN 12266-1, Rate A (liquid). Features Metallic bellows provides reliable stem sealing Minimizes external process-fluid leakage Non-rotating stem protects the bellows from torsional stress Suitable for high-temperature applications Hard-faced seat and disc for improved service life Robust bolted-bonnet construction Long operational life with reduced maintenance requirements. Applications Steam systems Thermal oil systems High-temperature process lines Vacuum service Chemical and industrial process applications Hazardous or costly fluids where external leakage must be minimized. Advantages Excellent protection against stem leakage Helps reduce product loss and energy loss Improves plant safety and environmental protection Reliable shut-off performance Suitable for demanding industrial services Long service life
