CS Gate Valve – Overview
A Carbon Steel (CS) Gate Valve is an isolation valve designed to completely stop or allow the flow of liquid or gas in pipelines. It works by lifting a gate (wedge) out of the fluid path. CS gate valves are robust, durable, and suitable for high pressure & high temperature applications.

Body & Bonnet: Cast carbon steel (A216 WCB) or forged carbon steel
Gate/Wedge: Solid wedge, flexible wedge, or parallel slide
Stem: Rising or Non-rising stem
Seating Surface: 13% Cr, SS 304, SS 316, Stellited hardfacing
Gland Packing: Graphite or PTFE
Bonnet Type: Bolted bonnet, Pressure seal bonnet, Welded bonnet
