Description
A Carbon Steel Globe Valve is a linear motion valve used to start, stop, and regulate flow in pipelines. Its globe-shaped body and internal disc-seat arrangement allow precise throttling and flow control, making it ideal for systems where flow adjustment and tight shut-off are required.
Design & Construction
Body & Bonnet: Carbon Steel (ASTM A216 WCB / ASTM A105)
Trim (Disc, Seat, Stem): Stainless Steel (SS304 / SS316) or Alloy Steel
Seat Type: Renewable, hard-faced or metal seated
Disc Types:
Plug / Parabolic / Ball type for improved flow control
Bonnet: Bolted Bonnet / Pressure Seal (high-temp applications)
Operation: Handwheel (manual), Gearbox, Pneumatic or Electric Actuator
End Connections:
Flanged (ASME B16.5)
Butt Weld (ASME B16.25)
Screwed (on smaller sizes)
