Overview
KLINGER gasket sheets are high-quality industrial sealing sheet materials designed to provide reliable, leak-proof sealing in a wide range of applications including steam, oil, gas, water, chemicals, and process services. They are easy to cut to shape for flange gaskets and exhibit excellent mechanical, thermal, and chemical resistance.
Key Material Types
1. KLINGERSIL® Fibre-Reinforced Gasket Sheets
These are asbestos-free, fibre-reinforced sealing sheets with excellent resistance to temperature, pressure and chemicals. Common grades include:
KLINGERSIL C-4408: Universal high-pressure gasket material suitable for oils, steam, water, hydrocarbons and general industrial services; aramid fibre with NBR binder for strength and stress resistance.
KLINGERSIL C-4401 / C-4300 / C-4324: General purpose sheets with good sealability and chemical resistance.
KLINGERSIL C-4430 / C-4433: Excellent stress relaxation, improved stability in steam and hot water applications.
2. KLINGER TopChem PTFE Sheets
PTFE-based soft sealing sheets offering exceptional chemical resistance, especially to strong acids and alkaline solutions — ideal for chemical and corrosive media.
3. Graphite & Graphite Laminate Sheets
Graphite laminate materials handle extreme temperatures (-200 °C to ~550 °C) and a broad range of chemicals. Typically fitted with anti-stick finishes for easy removal after service.
4. Specialty Sheet Materials
KLINGER Milam: Mica / high-temperature sealing for very hot services up to ~900 °C.
KLINGER Compensil / Quantum / ML Series: Unique fibre combinations for specific sealing needs.
