Kartar Dual Plate NRVs are compact, spring-assisted wafer-type non-return valves designed to automatically prevent reverse flow in pipelines. The dual spring-loaded plates open with forward flow and close rapidly when the flow stops, minimizing water hammer and protecting pumps, compressors, and piping systems. These valves are ideal for water supply, fire protection, HVAC, irrigation, and industrial process applications. Design & Construction: Body Material: Cast Iron (CI) / Ductile Iron (DI) Disc Material: Stainless Steel (SS304 / SS316) or SG Iron (model dependent) Spring Material: Stainless Steel Seat Material: EPDM / NBR (application dependent) Hinge Pin: Stainless Steel Type: Wafer Type, Dual Plate, Spring Assisted End Connection: Wafer Type (Suitable for PN10 / PN16 Flanges) Standards & Specifications: Design Standard: API 594 / IS 5312 (applicable models) Testing Standard: API 598 Pressure Rating: PN10 / PN16 Available Sizes: DN50 (50 mm) to DN600 (600 mm) Installation: Horizontal or Vertical (upward flow) depending on service conditions.
