1. Overview

MS Elbows are pipe fittings used to change the direction of flow in pipelines. They are essential in industrial, commercial, and residential piping systems. The most common angles are 90°, 45°, and 180° (return elbow).

• Mild Steel (MS)

• Standards: IS 1239, ASTM A234, ASTM A105

• Features: Good strength, machinability, and moderate corrosion resistance (improved with painting or coating)

   • Seamless Elbow – made from a single piece, stronger and leak-proof

   • Butt Weld Elbow – welded for larger diameters

   • Socket Weld Elbow – for small diameter pipes
